4. Product Information & Pricing

We manufacture and supply Langstroth beehives, Kenya Top Bar hives, stainless steel honey extractors, sting-proof protective suits, beeswax foundation sheets, honey processing equipment, and related beekeeping supplies. Timber hives are crafted from natural seasoned wood, so colors or wood grain patterns may vary naturally.

All prices listed on the Website are displayed in Kenya Shillings (KES) unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to modify prices without prior notice. Price changes will not affect orders already confirmed by us in writing.

5. Quotations & Orders

Formal written quotations and Proforma Invoices issued for commercial, bulk, cooperative, or institutional enquiries are valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Submitting an order via WooCommerce checkout constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding sales contract is formed only when we confirm product dispatch or issue a formal payment receipt.

6. Payment Methods & Terms

We accept payment via M-Pesa, direct bank transfer (EFT/RTGS), authorized credit/debit cards, and pre-approved cash on collection at our premises.

• M-Pesa: Payments processed upon automated or manual transaction code verification.
• Bank Transfer: Remitted to our official company account; proof of payment required prior to dispatch.
• Card Payments: Processed securely via authorized PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways offsite.

7. Custom & Bulk Orders

Custom-built beehives, modified honey extractors, or specialized timber fabrication require a non-refundable deposit prior to production commencement. Custom items cannot be cancelled or returned once production has started.

Bulk orders exceeding commercial thresholds are subject to custom manufacturing schedules and freight agreements specified in written quotations.

8. Delivery & Collection

We deliver beekeeping equipment across all 47 counties in Kenya and select regional destinations in East Africa (Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda). Standard courier delivery within Kenya takes an estimated 3 to 5 business days following payment confirmation.

Customers selecting self-collection must pick up orders from our premises in Kenol Town during regular business hours (Mon–Fri 8am–5pm, Sat 8am–1pm) within 7 business days of pickup notification.

9. Inspection, Returns & Refunds

You must inspect all equipment upon receipt. Any visible transit damage, missing items, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of receipt for immediate replacement or repair.

Unused, un-assembled equipment in original packaging may be returned within 14 days in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy. Used protective suits, used hives/tools containing wax or propolis, and unsealed honey jars are non-returnable for bio-security reasons.

10. Critical Beekeeping Risk & Safety Disclaimer

NOTICE REGARDING LIVE BEES & PROTECTIVE GEAR: Beekeeping involves working with live insects, aggressive bee colonies (including Africanized honey bees Apis mellifera scutellata), smokers, heavy hive bodies, and outdoor environmental hazards.

No Protective Clothing Guarantee: While Nollamax protective suits, jackets, veils, and leather gloves are designed to resist stings, no protective suit or clothing can guarantee 100% protection against bee stings under all conditions. Bee stings can cause severe pain, systemic allergic reactions, severe anaphylaxis, or death in sensitive individuals.

Nollamax Enterprises Ltd expressly disclaims any liability for bee stings, allergic reactions, personal injuries, or property damage sustained while using our protective gear or beekeeping equipment. Users must exercise extreme caution, follow proper apiary safety protocols, inspect gear for tears or gaps before hive approach, and seek immediate emergency medical care in the event of an allergic reaction.

11. Raw Honey & Food Product Disclaimer

Raw honey sold by Nollamax is a natural food product. It may crystallize naturally over time; crystallization is a natural property of pure honey and does not indicate spoilage. Raw honey should never be fed to infants under 12 months of age due to the risk of infant botulism.

12. Intellectual Property & Prohibited Use

All content on this Website—including logos, product designs, brand names, text, graphics, photos, dynamic templates, and software code—is the property of Nollamax Enterprises Ltd and protected under Kenyan and international intellectual property laws.

You agree not to breach Website security, inject malicious code, use automated scrapers, or submit false/fraudulent orders.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms, your use of the Website, and all sales contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya.

In the event of any dispute or claim, the parties shall first attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through direct negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Kenya located in Nairobi.
